Increase (inc)
Working the Stitch:
Work 2 stitches into the same stitch
What is it used for?
Increases are used to make projects larger/wider. It will also increase the total number of stitches you have in the round.
Tip:
Increases are usually made using the same stitch you are already working with (unless stated otherwise).
If your pattern is using single crochet (sc), you will make a single crochet increase (inc). If using half double crochet (hdc), you will make a half double crochet increase, and so on.
The type of increase changes depending on the stitch being used in the pattern.
