I create original amigurumi patterns, beginner-friendly tutorials, crochet workshops and meaningful collections designed to make creativity feel approachable and enjoyable.

Crochet by Maya began through my love of making, but it has grown into something much bigger: a space where people can learn new skills, build their confidence and discover the stories behind each creation.

I’m especially passionate about helping beginners take the next step. Learning individual stitches is one thing, but knowing how to bring them together into a finished project can feel overwhelming. Through my tutorials, patterns, workshops and the Little Crochet book series I’m developing, I hope to make that journey feel clearer, gentler and far less intimidating.

My original collections bring together crochet, character and storytelling. From the playful Pocket Treats to the upcoming Little Explorers and Women of the Bible collections, every design is created with its own personality, purpose and little story to share.
