Handmade with care and quiet intention ✨

Fasten Off (FO), Closing & Weaving The Ends

Working the Stitch:

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail

Pull the yarn tail fully through the loop on your hook

Thread the yarn tail onto your tapestry needle

Weave the needle up and down through the back (or front) loops of the final round

Pull gently to close the opening securely

What is it used for?

This technique closes the opening of your crochet piece neatly and helps secure the stuffing inside.

Tip:

Pull slowly when closing the hole to avoid snapping the yarn or creating gaps.

Some crocheters weave through the FLO whereas some weave through the BLO of the final round.

Weave the tail through some stitches of the plushie and hide any remaining tail inside the plushie (see video).
